I had the opportunity to check out my boys (The League) at DJ Era’s #MusicIsMyLifeLA event. The performances took place at Popular Demand on Fairfax in LA. The first person up to perform was Pervado. He’s a conscious style rapper with a nice little flow. I’ll definitely be posting his music in the near future. After him, The League showed all the way out. They performed a few of my favorites and a couple acapellas. DJ Marley Waters (Tinashe’s 2 On producer) took the stage right after and performed “Long Way“. Dorrough closed the show with a few songs and even filmed part of his video for “Who Got It” featuring Problem.
Over all it was a good night. I had the chance to talk with Big K.R.I.T. and catch up with a few friends like Sylvon Marshall, Fabe (songwriter and producer), Miss Bliss, The League and DJ Looney. Peep a few pictures below.

Often blessings are concealed in difficulty.
So maybe not today or tomorrow or even in a year, but eventually things will grow brighter and you will get better; you will be able to reflect on all that has come to pass and say with relief: “I made it!”
Just keep moving forward.

After shutting down Webster Hall in NYC the other night, Top Dawg Ent. MC Ab-Soul releases the visuals for Hunnid Stax.
On Saturday night, I had the pleasure of attending Reggie and Lillit’s BREATHTAKING wedding. The ceremony was extremely personal but short & sweet. Their daughter Briseis looked adorable with her blinged out Chucks and flower girl dress. Lillit and Reggie’s personalities shined throughout the ceremony with little jokes. My favorite moment was the request from the Bride and Groom for us to “join as one” with God through a prayer said by the wedding’s San Diego pastor.
After the wedding ceremony, we were all chauffeured to the courtyard where 4 bars, waiters with appetizers and a mexican themed food bar awaited us. There were a lot of familiar faces including Brody Jenner, Lenny & Lisa Hochstein and half of the NFL. (lol) We all indulged as the newlyweds snuck away for their photoshoot. After what seemed like less than an hour, we were ushered into the ballroom.
The reception was every girl’s dream. The mirror topped tables were dressed with a white sequin cloth and was topped with the most gorgeous white rose and orchid centerpiece. I was seated with Mark Sanchez, Fred McAfee, my date and some of Lillit’s gorgeous friends. We all laughed the night away as the live band and singers entertained us. The speeches were sweet, Lillit’s dance was beautiful and the food was ABSOLUTELY to die for. I could go on and on about this perfect night, but I’ll just leave it at that and let you see a few of my personal pictures.
Thank you for letting me share this moment with you Reggie!

Some of the most ordinary people have achieved the most extraordinary things in life.
As we all know, “achieve” comes before “believe” in the dictionary. Yet in real life, in order to reach our personal successes, we must have faith and confidence, first! Each of these provides the strongest foundation for achievement.
Money and/or power are helpful but you must begin with confidence and remain…
